Vianne's Family Visit: The Great Tournament of the Bastide
Take the whole family on a journey back to the heart of the Middle Ages with “Le Grand Tournoi de la Bastide” in Vianne!
After a captivating introduction to the history of bastides, join in a fun-filled adventure where your children (ages 5 and up) become the heroes of a tournament organized by the town’s co-lords. Ring toss, tug-of-war, sword fighting, sack races: so many period games to discover, while having fun, the festive traditions of the age of knights. A reward awaits the bravest… Let the festivities begin!
Practical information:
- July 10–August 28: every Friday at 10 a.m.
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Meet at the Vianne Tourist Office, Place des Marronniers
- Family activity for ages 5 and up.
- Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
