Bastides in Celebration - Bastide de Vianne

Two days to celebrate medieval heritage in Lot-et-Garonne and Vianne with “Bastides en fête”!

Program for Sunday, October 25, in Vianne:

Vianne invites you to step back in time within its ramparts! Discover the craftsmanship of master glassmakers at the Glass Museum and admire the work of stained-glass artists before enjoying a friendly gathering playing traditional games.

The medieval atmosphere continues at the table with the famous “poule au pot” (chicken stew) of Henry IV. Then, along the ramparts, watch the archers’ demonstration and try your hand at aiming for the target! As a family, you can also follow in the footsteps of a mysterious wolf on the Tèrra Aventura trail and solve its puzzles.

To end the day on a musical note, let yourself be carried away by the voices of the Chœur de l’Albret in the bastide’s church. A day filled with heritage, craftsmanship, games, and traditions!
