Festival of Liars

Every summer, the village of Moncrabeau becomes the world capital… of liars! The famous Festival of Liars returns on August 1 and 2, 2026, for a weekend full of humor, traditions, and good cheer.
On the program: lying contests, inductions into the Academy of Liars, street entertainment, a market, festive meals, and a friendly atmosphere throughout the village.
Saturday, August 1:
-Around 5:00 PM: various activities for children
-6:30 PM: Mass at the church in Moncrabeau
-7:00 PM: Social evening, with on-site dining and musical entertainment by the group Marion et les Garçons.
Sunday, August 2:
- All day: Flea market near the war memorial and a Gourmet Market
-10:30 AM Gascon folk dances with Les Cabris d'Albret
-3:00 PM International Menteries Contest (admission fee)
-6:30 PM Coronation of the King 2026
Followed by an evening of entertainment featuring a Bandas.
