The Floc Festival Program

9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Hike through the vineyards starting at the Cave du Mézinais—led by the Land’Albret Hiking Club. Free—complimentary coffee before departure
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Urban Game “Grandma Albret’s Secret Recipe,” presented by Albret Tourisme. A cultural tour of the city in the form of a game; registration required by phone at 05 53 65 27 75—meet in front of the tourist office
12:00 p.m.: Summer Floc to share! Aperitif courtesy of the Floc de Gascogne Interprofessional Association on the Place du Club
12:45 p.m.: Winemaker’s lunch at La Ferme de Gagnet (producer) €29 per person—reservations required at 0682361982—includes an aperitif, a Gascon platter, grilled duck breast with Floc sauce and gratin dauphinois, fresh fruit, wine, coffee, and Armagnac
3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Guided tour of the Cork and Cork Stopper Museum. Tasting of Lou Floc, the region’s iconic cake!
5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Cooking workshop with Cyril CARRINI, the overall winner of the TV show *Le Meilleur Pâtissier*, which aired on M6 in 2015. We’ll be preparing a gluten-free and lactose-free recipe—but still featuring Floc de Gascogne! Meet us at the Place du Club
7:00 p.m.: Start of the gourmet evening at the Place du Club. Induction of new knights and ladies of the Floc de Gascogne, musical entertainment by DJ Jérôme CHAUMET, a local farmers’ market, and an aperitif courtesy of the Floc de Gascogne industry
All day: Exhibition on Floc de Gascogne in collaboration with Les Amis de Fousserie (guided tours at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.)
