Located in the heart of southwestern France, Albret offers a variety of landscapes: to the north, the vast Garonne valley, bordered by fertile land that is home to France's largest orchard.
To the south lies Gascony: its valleys, rivers, and cultivated hillsides so charmed Stendhal that he christened Albret "the French Tuscany." Finally, to the west, on sandy soil, lies the great Landes forest, the largest forest in Europe with nearly one million hectares of woodland.

From the heart of Albret, hiking trails branch out in all directions: towards the hills of Néracais, the proud bastides on the banks of the Baïse, or towards the fruit orchards and vineyards. Take a detour to the Landes forest, which also offers unusual walks through the intoxicatingly fragrant pine trees and palombières (pigeon hunting hides). Finally, let yourself be guided through the grain-growing plains on the banks of the Garonne.
So it's not just one country, but several that await your curiosity.
